Landesa works to secure land rights for the world’s poorest people– those 2.47 billion chiefly rural people who live on less than two dollars a day. Landesa partners with developing country governments to design and implement laws, policies, and programs concerning land that provide opportunity, further economic growth, and promote social justice.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better; achieving higher aspirations, gaining confidence to overcome challenges, improving relationships with family and community, and obtaining educational success by staying in school.
YMCA Youth and Government. "In the Y, we believe understanding how our democratic systems work is critical to the success of our communities now, and in the future. We believe engagement in our community is essential in order to advocate for change and hold elected leaders accountable. And, we believe all young people should have the power and knowledge to exercise their rights as citizens."
Mercy Corps "When a natural disaster strikes, an economy collapses, or conflict erupts, Mercy Corps is there. We respond immediately to meet urgent needs for food, water and shelter, and stay beyond the emergency to partner with communities for their long-term recovery."
